About the Author

DiLisio), as well as both sets of grandparents (Rocco and Maria DiLisio and Cosimo and Lucia DiGenova) were born and lived in the City of Sulmona, province of L’Aquila (Abruzzo) and a number of family members continue to reside in the city and Abruzzo region. His father once operated a travel agency in suburban Pittsburgh, near the Pittsburgh International Airport.

Rock’s international travels have taken him through the Abruzzo towns and cities of Pescara, Scanno, Raiano, Pacentro and Sulmona, as well as cities and locations throughout Italy, such as Rome,Venice, Florence, Naples, Capri, Pompei, Sorrento, Ischia, Padua, Venafro, Caserta, as well as San Marino and Vatican City. He has also traveled around the world to destination cities such as Paris, France, London, England, Melbourne – and various parts of Victoria, Australia, as well as locations in Mexico and Canada. Rock has also traveled to many destinations throughout the United States. Other books from Rock DiLisio include the French and Indian War based, American Advance and the World War II Chronicle, Firings From the Fox Hole.
