The Blue Screen at Night is a collection of original short stories and poems from Norwalk High School students in Norwalk, CT. This unique collection symbolizes the creativity and emotional inspiration of today's "IPOD" generation.

The themes of this unique collection range from teenage/family relationships to social-political commentaries. Each writer featured in this collection represents Norwalk High School's diversity in education. Mrs. Kopple is extremely proud of her students and hopes this book will inspire other young writers.

The following students from Mrs. Kopple's Honor's English III class are to be commended for their willingness to take creative risks and ability to create a collection that represents the creative sprit of America's youth: Kyle Chu, Eddie Fitzgerald, Laura Formanek, Danielle Kearns, Cheryl Moorer, Michael Passarelli, Aaminah Qadri, Julianne Rogan, Carissa Streuli, and Jacob Taylor.

Deborah Kopple is an English teacher at Norwalk High School in Norwalk, CT. She lives in New Fairfield, CT with her husband and pug Mugsie. Mrs. Kopple?s Honor?s English III students have written this original collection of short stories and poems. This unique book symbolizes the emotions and inspiration of today?s younger generation.
