iUniverse-published author debuts with legal thriller
Gary White of The Ledger, recently interviewed Lakeland lawyer and author Michael D. Martin on the release of his debut novel, The Crestfallen Rose. Michael says that this legal thriller was inspired by his experiences in environmental and agriculture law. In the article, he says, “I don't even feel like I'm an author. I'm just a guy with a lot of experience. You just have to have an imagination and be willing to do it. I think everybody has a story to tell. I also believe maybe the best stories we'll never hear are from people who would like to be authors and haven't written anything.”

Lihosit, author and former Peace Corps volunteer, has been nominated for the Publisher’s Special Award for his book, Peace Corps Chronology; 1961-2010. Lawrence enthusiastically volunteered for the Peace Corps in the closing years of the Vietnam War. His participation took him through Honduras and most of Americas.
