About the Book

This book is a work of inspiration, encouragement and spiritual growth that does not disappoint and will leave readers searching their hearts and undoubtedly have a certain hope and different outlook on life and living as they reflect on what really matters in the end.

About the Author

I am the mother and single parent of two wonderful young adults, my son is 27 years old and my daughter is 26 years old and I can’t forget my little fur baby Willow a 4 year old schweaten. I began writing this book in 2004, while working as a PSW (personal support worker) with a young autistic lady who would become my teacher in ways only God knew I would need to face the next season of my life. In 2006, after 3 brain surgeries and 5 months in the hospital was now referred to as an ABI (acquired brain injury) survivor and diagnosed with Arnold Chiari Malformation 1. Little did I know that I would be using my own poems written in 2004 as well as the lessons I had learned from my young teacher as inspiration for my own recovery and therapy to not give up the fight.

I have always had a passion for writing poetry and short stories. I also like to create my own patterns in knitting, crochet and sewing.
