Journeys, encounters and observations of nature's ways. Eighty short stories in free verse, all drawn from the author's life experience.
From high up on a bridge
I saw him coming from afar,
paddle paddle paddle,
paddle paddle paddle.
On he came the handsome drake
and when he was directly below
I captured him on film.
Or so I thought.
It wasn't until later
that I realised my conceit.
For beyond the planes of vision
the Jeweller was at work,
making an ever-changing, ephemeral necklace.
