Kerosene Cowboys made into a major motion picture | Posted March 25, 2009
Randy Arrington’s naval aviation action novel Kerosene Cowboys has recently wrapped up filming for its major motion picture release. The movie, directed by Mario Van Peebles, is about an elite squadron of U.S. and Russian pilots executing covert missions in the Middle East. Kerosene Cowboys stars actors Shane West, Rachel Leigh Cook, J.C. Chasez, and Bill Pullman. The film was completed on location in Reno, Nev., and is scheduled for worldwide release in April 2010. Barker praised by field expert | Posted March 25, 2009
Carole Barker’s psychological book Crush was recently favorably reviewed by field expert Marc D. Feldman, M.D., clinical professor of psychiatry and adjunct professor of psychology at the University of Alabama. Feldman calls Crush “extremely powerful and well-written,” and writes that the novel does a superb job of “depicting the realities of Munchausen by proxy abuse and antisocial personality disorder (sociopathy).” The book is based on a true account of the ten-year struggle to save the life of Steven Barker.
