About the Author

Cindy has served on the board of directors for many nonprofit organizations and believes in the importance of giving back to her community and society. Cindy has been the recipient of many distinguished community service awards and received the University of Oklahoma Outstanding Alumni Regents Award. She was the recipient of the Athena Award, a prestigious honor given to a woman in Norman who has achieved the highest level of professional excellence, contributed time and energy to improve quality of life for others, and assisted others in realizing their full leadership potential. Cindy, with the help of others, implemented curbside recycling for the City of Norman. She is passionate about taking care of Mother Earth and recognizes the importance of conservation and protecting the future of our planet. Cindy has received state and national awards of excellence for her leadership and instruction in the area of physical therapy. She has been selected as the Outstanding Physical Therapist for Norman, Oklahoma for several consecutive years and teaches a variety of seminars to enrich the knowledge of others. As an intuitive healer, Cindy incorporates many alternative and complementary forms of wellness and healing in her existing physical therapy practice. She recognizes that there is so much more to healing than Western medicine alone. Special thanks to Erin Sealy for her help in compiling this book.
