About the Author

Dave Glass gained his first appreciation for construction while building model airplanes and Estes rockets as a young boy. Later, he gained an appreciation for labor carrying the Centre Daily Times newspaper to some 400 apartments every day for 5 years. His academic studies culminated in degrees in Engineering at Penn State and Business at Carnegie Mellon. In professional life he started as a field engineer for Schlumberger, and moved on to manage the construction of production plants spanning the automotive, glass, plastic, rubber, energy, electronics, and carbon fiber industries. He also worked in the federal sector as an independent contractor for the departments of Defense, Energy, and the Federal Aviation Administration. This is his first book.
