Everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die.
Hey,
Everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die. I've realized that life, ironically, is about dying over and over again (and loving it). I'm not referencing reincarnation, I mean how everyone has our own personal heavens we are all striving towards in this lifetime. "I want to be a better mother", "I want to be a superstar", ''I want to be a mechanic", "with her"- all of the illustrious things and ways of being we wish to embody- these things become our heaven. If we are on point our day-to-day actions are our manifested prayers towards that heaven. But if we are not willing to "die", as in do away with the things within and around us that would block us from obtaining our personal heaven, then we never go. It's the artist that wants to be recognized in her genre but is afraid to leave her hometown. No death, no heaven. The man who wants to become a master barber but won't put down the blunt and his dumb ass patna's. No death, no heaven.
