About the Book

Season-Marie is a beautiful, but lonely woman. Even being a successful editor of a popular fashion magazine didn't take that feeling of loneliness away. She desperately wanted to meet the man of her dreams. One who would bring her happiness, and the kind of love she had been searching for all of her life. In her spare time Season-Marie read romance novels wishing for her own happy ending. She dreamed of being the belle of the ball, and finding her own true love. But being the optimist she was, she didn't think he would just come knocking on her door.

Then one Saturday night after a few glasses of wine and finishing one of her books the strangest thing happened. As Season-Marie rose from the couch to head for bed, everything around her became surreal. Passing out, she later woke to find herself 100 years in the past. That's when she met Lord Jonathan Drake. The man of her dreams. The kind of man she had been looking for all of her life. One who truely cared for her and loved her deeply. But could she really have somehow been transported back in time, or was all of it just a dream?

About the Author

Linda Zock is 48 years old. One of her dreams since being a little girl has been to write romance novels. Moving from her hometown of Pittsburgh to Ft. Lauderdale and having read hundreds of romance books herself, she decided to pursue that dream.

"Usually I don’t like an ending with a mechanical God descending from the clouds – like Oedipus Rex of Greek mythology – to solve the mystery. But while reading the novel, at all times I found myself wondering how the author would accomplish the dilemma of whether she was dreaming or not. The author’s use of antagonists and protagonists were equally balanced while the romantic scenes were tastefully salacious. I am going to assume that this is a female writer. I like her approach to writing and while I am doing some assuming here – she must be a sensitive, caring individual to express her thoughts on love and desire. This must be the same way she expresses herself in real life."
- Pam Carlson

"Be assured that I love the book. It could have been longer. Some novels I read I can’t wait until they end, in fact I have discarded some before the end. But this one could be double in length and I still would have found it interesting. I don’t like using these words - but it was brilliant; she could be an attorney doing summation live before a jury. She knows how to hold the interest – a rare find in today’s world. I particularly looked at this novel for content, originality, romance and clearness of storyline. It was in the 9-10 ranges for all of the criteria you asked me to look at. This novel has a great deal of selling promise. The story line is a different concept but I loved it. This book will sell well and I hope there are more books in the author’s mind."
