Kenneth M. Heck resides in Carlisle, Iowa, the home of the McCaughey septuplets. Graduating from Drake University in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science degree he later became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in 1968. Now retired, he quietly pursues such interests as lawn and gardening, Christian spirituality, paranormal phenomena, and the future. He considers himself a moral conservative, political progressive and a firm believer in the work ethic.
