In More or Less, Stephen Redding shares his unique vision of life in its totality and how our participation in it colors the pathway for ourselves, the world, and the universe. Mr. Redding draws on a myriad of amazing life experiences to illustrate his global view, and he offers his readers hope for radiant and fulfilling tomorrows by offering solutions for stagnancy and positive suggestions for enhancing personal growth. By drawing out and exposing forces that negatively impact our existence, Mr. Redding equips the reader to move through life less encumbered and avoid pitfalls that threaten life’s splendor. His lucid exploration of our individual roles in the existence experience makes it abundantly clear that we do, indeed, have the ability to determine whether our lives are More or Less.

In an age of ceaseless bombardment by messages of greed, fear, suffering, and violence, More or Less is a positive and hopeful communique that allows its readers to take charge of their own destinies and bring to bear lasting effects on our world and the worlds beyond our own. No matter what stage of life the reader is in, Stephen Redding’s message reaches out with compassion and kindness to offer inspiration, gentle guidance, and expectant anticipation for what lies ahead.

The worldview introduced in this book advocates placing great value in our past and current presence in life’s incredible journey. With a renewed sense of our present opportunities and obligations, many of us may want to respond to the challenges and issues before us with giving and purposeful efforts. All the while we must remain mindful that when we strive toward discovering the More of life, no effort is too small or unworthy. It is not so much about assuming a heavy burden or making hurried efforts, but rather living in such a way in which we consciously practice caring for the life in and around us. It is this author’s hope that More or Less has helped us to discern what we value and oriented us toward the direction that best brings it within our reach. As we move forward, if this is true, there is no need for overwhelming single efforts, nor is there any particular hurry. Let us enjoy our purposeful walk through this world, and know that we have returned to the giving waters of life’s river. These waters shall forever quench our thirst and sustain our presence.

Stephen W. Redding grew up on a large family farm in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where he lived with his parents and fourteen brothers and sisters. Following years of university study, he moved to a 35-acre homestead in rural Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, where he currently resides with his wife and their four children.
