The poems of C. J. are ones you will remember for a long time to come. Perhaps one day they will be required reading in high schools and, unlike the stuffy “Thee and Thou” of olden text, his works "will" be appreciated by future youths.
Patrica "Tish" Schau

CJ’s writing is impossible to pigeonhole. Like Brautigan, his poetry has a strong narrative drive, pushing the boundaries between verse and story, blurring the boundaries of the real and surreal. And he’s not afraid to be laugh-out-loud funny—to trade on the double entendre or create moments of absurd slapstick. A breath of fresh air in a literary form that so often feeds on misery, loneliness and despair.
John Holton, Author
Bendigo, Australia

C. J. Krieger is a well seasoned poet, whose work is as rich and sweet as a mid August harvest. He has home grown his compassionate philosophies into a collection of poetry that is a virtual feast for the heart and mind.
Sandra Erickson, Artist and Poet

The Shadows of Tinker Street I watched As the long winter shadows Grew past the travelers on the green Touching the tinker street stores Like an actor in a play The evening light dimmed While the early night lights appeared One by one by one Lighting up All the stores on Tinker Street As I listened To the sound of music and drums Filter past the growing crowd The local Tinker Street musicians Gathered once again For another evening’s performance All these things painted a picture As I watched a mystical vision Of shadows and visitors and musicians And of course the townsfolk Swirl and mix into the Woodstock night It was flawless The perfect country street Magically remembering its roots And passing them on During a dreamy cool wintry night All to the delight Of Tinker Street I watched As the long winter shadows Grew past the travelers on the green Touching the tinker street stores Like an actor in a play The evening light dimmed While the early night lights appeared One by one by one Lighting up All the stores on Tinker Street As I listened To the sound of music and drums Filter past the growing crowd The local Tinker Street musicians Gathered once again For another evening’s performance All these things painted a picture As I watched a mystical vision Of shadows and visitors and musicians And of course the townsfolk Swirl and mix into the Woodstock night It was flawless The perfect country street Magically remembering its roots And passing them on During a dreamy cool wintry night All to the delight Of Tinker Street

C. J. Krieger comes with a wealth of history. Acknowledged as one of the premier poets of the Hudson Valley in New York. Five time Martial Arts Hall of Famer (both national and international). In 1999 he was voted as one of the five best residential Massage Therapists in New York City and was again recognized in 2007 as the Best Massage Therapist in New York's Hudson Valley. In 1985 C. J. designed the first intergrated satellite television system to be installed at Camp David! Even as far back as 1969 he supported himself as a musician and singer writing Church music and lyrics that are still being performed today! In the truest sense C. J. Krieger is the epitome of a renaissance man. But if you really want to know what makes C. J. tick, what makes him different, then all you need to do is read his poetry. There is nothing he holds back, best of all, it's from the heart.
