About the Author

I believe that my extensive life experiences and constant writing practice make this time to write "The Confessional Heart of a Man" now. From writing for Chicago State University's Tempo newspaper to performing at various poetry spots and at the 2003 Harlem Book Fair, it is this culmination of experiences that has birthed "The confessional Heart of a Man". Also, at this point in my life, four decades plus, I know and feel that now is "my time"! The poet was born, raised, and currently resides in Chicago, Illinois.
