About the Book

4200 gigs. 250 Film and TV song placements. 30 years in music. These are some of the bullet points in the resume of author/musician Bill Cinque. THE AMAZING ADVENTURES OF A MARGINALLY SUCCESSFUL MUSICIAN is an educational and entertaining look at the world of music. Honest, insightful and often humorously brutal, Cinque speaks to the beginner, the seasoned pro and the non-musician “civilian” in a unique and refreshing voice about the rehearsals, recordings and rejections in the life of a self-described “blue collar, working class musician.”

About the Author

The guy who was supposed to write this for me stepped out for coffee, so I guess I’ll just do this myself. Here goes: Born 6/5/58 in NYC, NY. Currently live in Los Angeles, Ca. -self taught musician. I read and write music in only the simplest terms. -working musician for 30 years -performed over 4200 shows, doing as many as 3 gigs per day in 46 states, plus Canada and Japan -over 250 TV song placements as singer/songwriter/producer -performed in over 50 bands I live on a strict diet of pizza and Rockford Files re-runs. For the sake of time and energy, I’ll answer all the other ridiculous questions that anyone might have in short order. Briefs, not boxers. Mary Ann, not Ginger. Yankees, not Mets. Giants, not Jets. Tea, not coffee.
