About the Book

Megan’s life on Mercer Island was in a turmoil starting with the events of 9/11. She struggled daily to keep her small family together but how could she know that events now unfolding would put her center stage of our country’s most critical manhunt in history? Or that those same events would be the catalyst in saving her family?

As they meet for the first time, Mid-Eastern men with a common goal of Jihad against the U.S. have their plans ruined. But will it stop them? Trained in a Madrasa in London and armed with radioactive material obtained from North Korea they are tracked by the FBI toward the heartland of America and one of its icons. The only link connecting the authorities with the terrorists are phone calls made by their driver to Megan from her own cell phone.

He was only to be the driver but now can he be persuaded to give up his ideals and what he believes is his secure place in paradise?

About the Author

The author lived in the Seattle area for twenty eight years advancing his career and raising his family. During his time there he gained a knowledge of the area that lends realism to this story. He currently lives on a Caribbean island.
