Though your heart may be of stone
it gives me pleasure to tickle
your funny bone
it pleases me just as well
when you read my poems
to see your anger swell
it disturbs me not the least
if you see within me the beast
as long as my poems excite you
and exposes you
to a different point of view

Born in the U.S.A., raised of French, Dutch, Canadian Indian parents—when sixteen I came to the west coast to the west of the United States where I have lived most of my life. I have been a merchant seaman, hydro-geologist, jewelry designer, manufacturer, graphic artist, and naturalist. I attended Berea Foundation school and college in Kentucky; when forty four I obtained a B.A. degree in geology from the University of California at Davis. Currently I reside in Lake Forest, Seattle Washington.
