About the Author

Louisiana native, Brad Duplechien is a husband, father, college graduate, correctional officer, and paranormal investigator. Founder of Louisiana Spirits Paranormal Investigations, the state’s most reputable group, Brad applies his ten years in law enforcement to obtain his colorful and skeptical approach to the field. In late 2005, Brad founded "LaSpirits" in an effort to not only seek answers for himself, but to assist others in need of help who were having strange events going on in their home. Tired of seeing groups who only based their results on intuitions of individuals claiming to be "sensitive", Brad wanted to bring a more scientific and skeptical approach to the hobby. In addition, Brad and his group wanted to especially bring some normality to the hobby, after seeing an unfortunately large number of groups who portrayed themselves in a manner that was not suitable to provide a quality service to homeowners.
