About the Author

David Gifaldi teaches 5th grade and lives with his wife, Marita, in Portland, OR. He has published six books for young readers, including The Boy Who Spoke Colors, Toby Scudder, Ultimate Warrior, and Rearranging and Other Stories. He has a picture book and a novel in poems scheduled for publication in 2001.
