About the Book

Have you ever wondered why some objects float, why the sky is blue, or why some people are color blind? Or perhaps you want to understand the nature of light, gravity, and waves.

You are not alone. There are lots of young people just like you who wonder about these things every day and are craving answers.

Among them are Nicky and Pat, two friends who engage in an in-depth conversation as they seek to answer their questions about science. Along the way, they are helped by DeM, their omniscient guide who helps them unravel the scientific mysteries they can’t figure out themselves.

Join Nicky and Pat and satisfy your own curiosity as you learn about:

  • Vision and images
  • Basic phenomena such as resonance, diffraction, and refraction
  • How eye glasses work and other answers to your practical questions
  • And much more!
Learn how to make guesses, test your theories, and examine the world more closely. Log on to the Internet and download free programs that will help in your quest. It all starts with asking the right questions in Why is Everything!
