About the Author

Elizabeth Elster is a college student at Washington University in St. Louis. She was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC along with her triplet sisters and older brother. Her experience with chronic pain has led her to write this account of how she was diagnosed, treated and eventually cured of RND.
