I have lived a good life with knowledge and training in meditation and positive thinking, but all of this knowledge and practice could not prepare me for such grief that I have experienced when my Mom passed. I am still grieving to this day, but it is much better and I feel writing this book is helping me to heal as well. Remember I mentioned earlier that there is no time limit to grieve, but how we grieve is my point here. Extreme grief can lead to depression, bad health and even sometimes suicide. Grief is such an individual process and no one can feel another persons grief or no how they are suffering because it is so personal. After the experience with the Medium, I felt a spark of hope and attention to my Mom's Spirit. I knew she was communicating with me and trying to get my attention. Now it was up to me to learn how to look for the signs and interpret what they meant. I had a new focus on my inner self and the Spirit within.

After her mother dies from colon cancer, Ashley Marsillas begins to receive messages and signs from the spirit world during her grieving process. She contacts a medium, who confirms that the author is receiving messages from her mother, who is continuing to watch over her daughter. Ashley studies many types of metaphysical systems and people, including psychics, mediums, spirituality, channeling, and anything to do with connecting to spirit.
From her experiences with her own grieving, the author has crafted a book designed to help others who have lost a loved one. She includes meditation techniques and many stories about her connection with the spirit world. Love, Life, and the Spirit Within is a motivational book that demonstrates how an individual can achieve anything they set their mind to.
About the Author
Ashley Marsillas was born and raised in Chicago. She grew up in a real estate family where she learned about business and ethics at a very young age. She has extensively studied martial arts and the healing arts, including meditation practices, in both the United States and Southeast Asia.
She currently resides in Wisconsin with her husband and two loving dogs.
