About the Book

In this sequel to
“COME THE SWINE”
Chuck Abbott, three years after he and Bubba destroyed the Demon from hell, returned to help Bubba quell another bedeviled shroud of evil that had enveloped Heaven.
Since the school burned ninety some-odd years ago, wickedness had again reinstated it’s presence with yet another plague, plotted by the Devil to agitate and vex the wanton townspeople and keep them under his control. There will always be some sort of wicked presence in Heaven as long as Heaven belongs to the Devil.
Chuck believed there had to be an open door to hell which they must find. They must stop an onslaught of proliferating bloodlusts and try once again to save Heaven from a bout of permeating evil brought on by the Devil.

About the Author

For my qualifications as a writer of fiction, I attribute my penmanship for this book to a vivid imagination and a unique ability to tell a good story. During 22 years as a western motion picture and television stunt actor, I was also a member of Writers Guild Of America-West, at which time I wrote and sold numerous theatrical screenplays including; "Time And Time Again" / "A Deadly Obsession" / "Redneck Mama" and "Two Guns To Timberline" just to mention a few. This book "Return To Heaven" will be my fifth book to be published by iUniverse. -- Moving on to more personal attributes; A long time ago...before time took it's toll...I was a wild bull rider...a deep sea diver...and an adept womanizer...One day, having dinner under a stock shed on the set of "Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid" -- Paul Newman made a statement that stayed with me. He said that friendliness was contagious. Every since, I have made it a point to try and spread that disease. It does work, you know. My most personal recollections come from the multitude of friends I've made and worked with in the motion pictury industry. It would take forever to name them all. Here are a few prominent ones that remained forever close. I must start with "John Wayne" whom I worked with on seven of his westerns. Then there was "Lee Marvin" / "Steve McQueen" / "Jack Elam" / "Clint Eastwood" / "James Garner" / "William Holden" / "Michael Landon" / "Glenn Ford" / "Ward Bond" / "Robert Redford" / "Paul Newman" / "William Boyd" / "Lee Van Cliff" / " John Carridine" / "Hoyt Axton" / "Henry Fonda" / "Richard Farnsworth" / "Shelly Winters" / "Joan Baez" / "Jane Fonda" / "Katherine Ross" and "Linda Ronstadt"... After living for years in Studio City, California and Tucson, Arizona, I chose to make Monticello, Arkansas my retirement home. Once retired from stuntwork, I headed my own film production company for 15 years in El Dorado, Arkansas. Tucson, Arizona and Hollywood, California. From which among many commercials and documetaries came two feature films. "Wheeler" and "Physco From Texas" I have always carried a full plate and burned the candle at both ends. Also, being a singer/songwriter (Folk/Country) you could, when time permitted, find me doing a gig in a folk club or coffee house. I loved entertaining and did so through my 75th birthday. At 16 I was lead singer for a bluegrass band. Try getting up and singing on the radio at 6:30 A.M. every morning and riding bucking horses every night on the local rodeo circut. Upon starting my second eighty years this past November, I made a resolution to keep the remainder of my personal life...personal.
