About the Author

Donna Ternes Wanner was born in Bismarck, North Dakota. She is fifth in a family of ten. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Dickinson, State College in North Dakota, and her Master of Education Degree is from Lesley College in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

In Donna?s words, ?I remember when I was a teenager. Books with information on self-esteem and wellness were not available.?

Donna has been a professional educator for 33 years. She lives in Colorado where she continues to write, lecture, and consult.
