About the Author

Nellie Reynolds was born on a small farm in southern Indiana. She attended Indiana University and married Charles Reynolds. She moved to Indianapolis in 1940 and was employed with Warren Central High School for 26 years. She has two sons, Gordon and Jack Randall Reynolds; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Nellie started flying at age 52 and flew her own airplane cross country in air races, she is past president of the Ninety-Nines (Women?s Aviation Club). She enjoys oil painting, writing stories, time with family and life.
