L. E. Ward has published 1,000 articles on American film history as a contributing editor to such national film periodicals as The Big Reel, Classic Image, Videomania, The Lost Generation Journal, and Movie Collector?s World.
He is listed in Who?s Who in U.S. Writers, The International Who?s Who of Literature, Cambridge, England.
Ward is a member of the Academy of American Poets. He holds the Master of Arts in Literature degree and is a former faculty member of the literature department at the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater.
