About the Book
Jack Davidson, a general surgeon at Midsouth Regional Medical Center in Evansville, N.C. accidentally stumbles upon a plot involving sham surgery being performed at his institution.
Being Chief of Surgery at Midsouth, and driven by a high sense of responsibility to the Hippocratic Oath, he begins a solo quest to discover the person or persons and motives behind the dastardly scheme.
Dr. Davidson finds that his initial suspicions only touch the tip of the iceberg and that he will ultimately come close to forfeiting his own life in his attempt to solve the mystery.
Join him as the quest takes him from North Carolina to a small town in Maui that holds the answers to solving the mystery of Hana's Secret.
About the Author
John Richard Langley a.k.a. Jack Langley, M.D. was born in Meriden, Connecticut. Raised in a military family, he has lived in numerous parts of the country as well as Guam and Hawaii.
He was educated at The University of South Carolina, Columbia, S.C. (A.B. English) and the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, S.C. (M.D.). Following general surgery residency (Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia) and vascular surgery fellowship (University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas) he entered private practice in North Carolina.
He now resides in Cumming, Georgia, operates Greater Atlanta Vein Clinic, P.C. in Alpharetta, Georgia and does Locum Tenens surgery, with assignments ranging from Maine to Alaska. He is currently licensed in twelve states.
He is married to the former Janet Schmidt of Oconto Falls, Wisconsin. They have three children: Maria, of Flowery Branch, Georgia; John Rudolph (Rudy) of Greensboro, North Carolina and Tiffany of Canton, Georgia.
His hobbies include fiction writing, poetry, photography and travel.
