About the Book

Little, if anything, has ever been written about WWII history relative the air supply route across the belt of Africa to the China-Burma-India Theater of Operations. In this authentic war time setting is where this story finds Monica in a former life. This redheaded nurse teams up with a redheaded sergeant to break all the rules the Army ever made about non-fraternization between officers and enlisted personnel. She thrives on the dangers this affair creates for herself and the sergeant! The Chief Nurse has vowed to catch them, so they have to hide from her...as well as from everyone else. Sometimes they make love within a couple of feet of those who are trying to catch them! One close call right after another seems to spur them on to the next time...with Monica being thrilled each time!

About the Author

Jim Hatfield spent WWII on several air bases in Africa that were a part of the air supply route from the U.S. to the China-Burma-India Theater of Operations. He served in the Korean Conflict as a flying medic, and finally retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1969. He is now active in the Rehab Program of the VA for blinded veterans.
